The sun in H-Alpha on Feb 5

Only two regions are visible, active region 10940 nearing the west limb (to the right) and region 10941 further east (left). Filaments are visible near both regions. Filaments are now much less noticable than on Saturday.

Image taken with SolarScope Ltd. 50mm h-alpha telescope, 2.5X Televue Powermate, and Canon Xti Camera. Thin clouds, temperature 58°F, turbulence about 6/10.
